At the Marketing Artificial Intelligence Conference (MAICON) this past July 16 - 18, we chatted with a few of the speakers about their experiences at the event—plus how they see MAICON having a long-term impact on the marketing community.
MAICON brought together 300+ marketers at the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland for three days of marketing AI immersion. The conference included five interactive workshops and 37 general and breakout sessions featuring 50+ speakers from companies including: Conversica, Facebook, Grant Thornton, HubSpot, IBM, MIT Technology Review, Publicis Sapient, SoftBank Robotics, The Natori Company and Yext.
In the words of Marketing Strategist, David Meerman Scott: “We’re having the conversations and the relationships that allow us to do some thinking about what AI can be.”
Mitch Joel, President of Six Pixels Group, said: “The people who are here today are going to look back and say, I was there; I was there at that first event that really launched this massive movement where marketers can really start understanding and interacting more effectively with the tools that happen from machine learning and AI.”
