How to Generate Fact-Checked Content with AI

Written by Paul Roetzer | Jan 7, 2023 3:09:55 PM

You've seen amazing generative AI tools like ChatGPT and Jasper. Now, you can use AI to produce text outputs with actual fact-checking behind them.

That's the promise of LongShot AI, an AI content platform that not only generates content, but also fact-checks your content and provides references and citations.

That makes the tool a perfect fit for the work of startups and agencies with smaller teams (think 5-50 people).

We spoke to Ankur Pandey, CoFounder and CEO at LongShot AI to learn more about this AI-powered marketing tool.

In a single sentence or statement, describe LongShot AI.

LongShot AI is an AI content platform to research, generate, and optimize content.

How does LongShot AI use artificial intelligence in its products?

With LongShot AI, teams can go from idea to original, personalized, fact-checked, SEO content in minutes. LongShot AI especially focuses on long-form content issues, like hallucinations, factual inaccuracy, and staleness in AI content. We do this by marrying customer's data, web data, and multiple AI models.

What are the primary marketing use cases for your AI-powered solutions?

LongShot AI set out to solve the long-form content production problem.

This involves researching about a topic, creating a content brief, actually writing, and then optimizing the content for brand voice, SEO, originality, readability, etc. LongShot AI is designed for:

  • Content marketing teams
  • Content agencies
  • PR teams
  • Freelance content writers

What makes your AI-powered solution smarter than traditional approaches and products?

Think of LongShot AI as Jasper+ or ChatGPT+ for three important reasons:

  1. We are an end-to-end platform to research, generate, and optimize your content.
  2. You can use LongShot AI to write latest, real time content, and upload your data to teach it.
  3. LongShot AI makes sure your content is fact-checked, and provides references and citations.

Are there any minimum requirements for marketers to get value out of your AI-powered technology? (e.g. data, list size, etc.)

No.

Who are your ideal customers in terms of company size and industries?

Our ideal customers are companies selling digital products, startups who don't have small content teams, and content and SEO agencies. The ideal size company is 5-50 team members.

What do you see as the limitations of AI as it exists today?

AI is too monopolized by few companies (like OpenAI). Also, there's a lot of apprehension and lack of awareness in what AI can and can't do.

What do you see as the future potential of AI in marketing?

For starters, marketing content (text, images, videos) will largely be in the realm of AI. Content "creation" will be more like content editing/retouching.

Hyper personalization will be huge, to the point that we'll start seeing native scenes in the movies you watch (custom to you), and personalized stanzas in songs you listen to.

We'll also start to see products being purchased by one's "digital self" more or less on its own. The marketers will need to woo your digital counterpart, too.

Any other thoughts on AI in marketing, or advice for marketers who are just getting started with AI?

Embrace AI and use your imagination to push the limits of what's possible with the technology.
