Ada is conversational AI that gives brands the ability to launch advanced no-code chatbots for automatic personalized customer experiences at scale.
Using natural language generation (NLG) and natural language processing (NLP), Ada's AI bots help create richer interactions between brands and customers across billions of conversations.
We spoke with Ada CEO and cofounder Mike Murchison to learn more about the solution.
In a single sentence or statement, describe your company.
Ada uses conversational AI to automate billions of brand interactions a year. By using a new category of customer experience—Automated Customer Experience (ACX)—Ada serves as the automation layer fueling interactions between brands and their customers.
How does your company use artificial intelligence in its products?
Ada’s natural language processing engine goes beyond intuitive human-to-system conversations by using natural language understanding (NLU). This technology equips Ada’s conversational AI with superior comprehension of conversation meaning, intent, and context by focusing on understanding human language—allowing the chatbot to respond to more complex tasks formerly performed by humans.
What are the primary marketing use cases for your AI-powered solutions?
This year, Ada introduced Ada Engage—a personalized and proactive revenue automation platform that enables revenue teams to level-up their customer conversations, turning website visitors into monetary gain. Ada Engage drives collaboration between marketing, sales, and support, so post-sales teams are a partner in driving revenue from new and existing customers—all in one platform. What makes your AI-powered solution smarter than traditional approaches and products?
Ada’s no-code platform enabled businesses to launch conversational AI and see results in under 30 days. Clients hit an over 80% automation rate of their customer interactions.
With Ada Engage, brands can offer personalized experiences at every touchpoint, enhance customer profiles, and equip sales and marketing teams with the context they need to do what they do best—sell.
Are there any minimum requirements for marketers to get value out of your AI-powered technology? (e.g. data, list size, etc.)
To use Ada, you need 10 agents, 10,000 email/chat tickets, and 10,000 website visits a month
Who are your ideal customers in terms of company size and industries?
Our ideal customers are enterprise level of 1,000 employee or more, 75,000 tickets per month, and 75 plus support agents within the retail/ecommerce, fintech, SaaS, or hospitality industries.
What do you see as the limitations of AI as it exists today?
The market is crowded and highly competitive, but the vast majority of conversational AI or chatbot vendors are not truly AI driven, or they are selling complex AI platforms that are difficult to customize and configure for a chatbot interface. Ada has a unique advantage—with its no-code platform, Ada offers a swift implementation without any dependencies on IT.
What do you see as the future potential of AI in marketing?
Seamless integration of Ada’s no-code platform into the most valuable tools in the tech stack enables any sales or marketing team to build unified, proactive experiences without relying on IT. Ada Engages helps brands break down the silos between teams in the customer journey to provide best-in-class CX and drive loyalty and retention.
Any other thoughts on AI in marketing, or advice for marketers who are just getting started with AI?
Applying a proactive and integrated revenue building approach to conversational AI allows clients to build deeper customer relationships and sell more efficiently. Ada Engage enables revenue and marketing teams to quickly adapt to the growing customer demand for digital services and experiences.
